The truck has sat for a year and was recovered in Baltimore after being stolen. The previous owner said the truck ran ok before the theft. I replaced the ignition switch (the original one was punched by the thief) and it still will not crank or start.No problem. Since you've replaced tipm and tested starter. Most likely is the start solenoid control wire open. check this circuit continuity from tipm connector c10 (pin8 yellow with grey strip wire) to starter solenoid connector. tipm c10 connector (grey color connector) pinout attached. Ask Your Own Dodge Question.check at the park/reverse switch on the tranny, if that is bad, no power is sent to the starter relay, and is most likely the fault, if that checks out you can then chase down your remote starter stuff. I believe you can jumper the switch, a quick look at a wiring diagram should show you how to by-pass it. 2003, QC/SB.im having a similar problem working on a 98 dodge avenger 2.5l. i changed out the rack and pinion now the car wont start. i had to remove the battery, washer fluid resovoir, and the exhaust downpipe with the three o2 sensors still attached but unplugged. i hooked everything back up and the car wont start(has no spark). i began to diagnose the problem and have had no luck. the fuel pump is ...02 ram 1500 5.9.
